Bear Creek Fine Foods is a wholesale distributor of gourmet specialty foods to the retail trade. Located in Woodinville, Washington Bear Creek represents manufacturers of specialty foods from around the country and around the world. For the most part these manufacturers have given Bear Creek the exclusive distribution rights to their products within a specific geographic territory (e.g., the Pacific Northwest or the West Coast, etc.) although many products are distributed nationally. Bear Creek also imports and distributes products from Italy, Spain, England, Scotland and Canada.

Bear Creek’s products cover a broad spectrum of food categories, ranging from imported Spanish olives to Texas barbeque sauces. All have three characteristics that distinguish them from ordinary supermarket grocery items: superior quality, upscale packaging and higher price. They all also are manufactured by small producers who are committed to quality and who share the same love of fine regional foods as does Bear Creek Fine Foods.

Today Bear Creek represents nearly 100 manufacturers worldwide with over 2,000 products.

In addition to offering products of superior quality, Bear Creek Fine Foods has distinguished itself from other food distributors in two respects: first by a marketing strategy that opens up markets throughout the U.S. and second by service options that allow us to deliver products anywhere. To open up new markets Bear Creek participates in national and regional trade shows open to “the trade only.” For example, Bear Creek is a member of the National Association of Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) and participates in its three national shows. This has resulted in Bear Creek supplying retail customers in all 50 states and portions of Canada.

To serve this geographically diverse customer base, Bear Creek provides a service that few other food distributors offer – we package and ship product by UPS and common carriers to customers throughout North America. By doing so we can reach the small gourmet shop in remote locations or the large specialty stores across the country. And we do this at little or no charge to the retailer.
