Congratulations Chefshop.com and Bennett's!

·Chefshop.com was awarded Seattle Metropolitan magazine's Best Specialty Food Store.

ChefShop.com"Located in the inner bay area of Seattle, Washington, ChefShop.com was started in 1999 by a small group of passionate food-lovers with a very big mission: To change the way people think and feel about the foods that they eat by finding the very best-tasting foods from small farmers and artisan producers from around the world – especially from those growers and craftspeople who see the connection between the way the land is maintained and the quality of the food they produce - and making these products available to ChefShop.com’s customers wherever they live."

·Bennett's Pure Food Bistro was awarded Seattle Metropolitan magazine's Best New Eastside Restaurant.

Bennett's Pure Food Bistro"At Bennett’s we are committed to serving pure, all natural, additive free food. You won’t find artificial preservatives, colors or sweeteners. No flavor enhancers, hydrogenated oils or processed foods. What you will find, are the freshest most authentic ingredients we can offer. Most of our ingredients are deeply rooted in the Cascadia region – an area extending from northern California to southern Alaska, and the coast to the continental divide, taking in Washington, most of Oregon and Idaho and part of Montana. As a result, our ingredients will ebb and flow with the seasons. At any given time, you might discover sun ripened fruits from the Okanagon, Skagit Valley produce, beef from the lush Tillamook pastures of Oregon, Salt Spring Island lamb and fresh seafood caught off our own coastlines."

New La Tourangelle Oils a Huge Hit!

La Tourangelle Avocado Oil

"Between the walnut, pistachio, roasted pecan, and toasted sesame, cans of cooking oils now occupy an entire shelf in my refrigerator. They take up so much space that a new one has to be very good to join the group. But how could I pass up La Tourangelle's new avocado oil? Made from pressed avocados (and nothing else), it is a gorgeous emerald green, with a fine fruity roundness that makes it lovely for both sweet and savory applications. On salads, it contributes a hint of avocado flavor, and it is wonderful drizzled over slices of grapefruit and melon. It is also high in monounsaturated fats."

La Tourangelle "Tuffle Oil gets a bad rap: Chefs overdo it, and many products have an aftertase that is more artificial than atisinal. Not so with two new truffle oils from La Tourangelle. The White Truffle Grapeseed Oil is pungent and earthy, showing authentic truffle aroma and flavor; a few teaspoons tossed with pasta and broccoli was terrific. The Black Truffle Grapeseed Oil is more subtle, but rich and surprisingly persistent. Drizzle it on broiled fish or chicken. La Tourangelle also has a new avocado oil which has a gentle, yet buttery avocado flavor, perfect for delicate dressings. Avocado oils has more heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids than olive oil and the highest smoke point of any oil. The California-based La Tourangelle also makes intensly flavored nut oils, including pecan and pistachio."

Dulcet - At Dulcet, our philosophy is simple: Make deliciousness easy by creating the finest, most flavorful epicurean products available using only 100% natural ingredients.

Cookwell & Company - Cookwell & Company was formed when three friends from grade school got together and decided to provide great quality products that allow home cooks an easy way to make great meals. Our backgrounds are as varied as the products we plan to produce.

Eleona - We are proud to bring you the same olives and oils that have been traditionally reserved for the tables of those who grow olives for their livelihood. Each product we provide has been carefully hand selected from the best growers and producers throughout Greece.

Belamandil - Fleur de Sel, known in Portugal as Flor de Sal, is hand-harvested, in the Algarve region of Portugal. During the harvest process, the first layer produces the finest and most mineral-rich crystals, to ultimately be used, not during the cooking process, but to season dishes prior to serving.

World Foods - World Foods was born from the fiery passion of our chefs' desire to share their East-West "Fusion of Flavours" with the world. We are passioniate about how we select every ingredient that goes into all our World Foods products, thus giving you the best!
